Obituary of Haley Melzer

Haley Melzer, schnoodle, was born on February 12, 2002 and came to be a part of our family on April 24, 2002. 18 years, 4 months. Haley was the best part of the last 18 years of our lives. Full of spunk, as only a terrier can have, and endless and boundless love for her family, Haley graced our lives with true joy and endless love. She was a true explorer of the outdoors, loved to walk and walk with her mom and dad. Loved going on vacations with us in her later years, visiting Amelia Island 3 times, the Smokey Mountains, Highlands, North Carolina. Riding in the car was a joy for her. She was a determined little girl, despite being diagnosed with a mitral valve prolapse at 9, and a spinal degenerative issue at 17, she just kept on going. She was easy going, wanted to be with her parents above all else. We are devasted by her death, and broken hearted, she will never be replaced, nor could she be. There is and will only ever be one Haley Melzer.
