He Was Loved

Eleven and a half years ago on a hot summer day in The Colony, TX, Scott and I pulled into the Race Trac Gas Station near our home. There on the curb were a couple of kids with a crate full of puppies. The sweet little golden one caught our eyes immediately. Scott called his father at work at DFW Airport and asked if Bandit could have a playmate. We named him Max.
Max had a full life. He loved playing ball, going swimming, long walks and playing in the snow once we moved to Kentucky. Maxie Max was loved by all; his new brother Eli, his next door neighbor Toby and numerous humans too. Although he is not with us physically any more, he will forever be in our hearts.
