Obituary of Sneakers Mitchell

Sneakers, 13, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2020. Lovingly adopted by his pet parent, Tim Mitchell of Hebron, Sneakers was a farm cat from Belleview, KY. At only a few weeks old, he was given to Mr. Mitchell in the late Spring of 2007. He was loved very much throughout his years. He enjoyed chasing things and playing with strings and rolled up straw papers. His purr was so loud, Mr. Mitchell called him “my little motorboat.” He loved sitting on Mr. Mitchell’s lap or sitting beside him or at his feet while his parent was working on his computer or watching TV. He would also often wake Mr. Mitchell up in the mornings by jumping up on the bed and gently placing his paw on Mr. Mitchell’s face, to let him know it was feeding time. Although strictly an indoor cat, Mr. Mitchell would often open the windows or patio door and both of his cats would enjoy looking out or even laying there for hours. He also enjoyed laying in the sun shining through the windows. Sneakers was a gentle, playful, and friendly companion. Mr. Mitchell will always miss and cherish the times he had with what he called “my little buddy.” He is survived by his adopted parent, Tim Mitchell, and a step-sister, Mitzi, and many others who met him briefly throughout the years.
